I had a lot going on in the past 3 + years. 2 abdominal surgeries in 2 years, moving, lots of stuff going on with the family, and home renovations. I started working from home to make sure I was around to take care of everything and everyone. We would eat out a lot and I slowly started to gain weight. I was tired all the time, and just wasn’t feeling right. Which was hard for me because I was an athlete in high school. In 2016 I decided I had to do something about it. Telling me to go to the “gym” was like cursing at me, but I knew that was what I had to do. I tried one gym which was a good environment, but it was too restrictive. I had a hard time even going twice a week. I stopped going, but I started to feel like crap again. I did some googling and found IDEAL Bootcamp. May 2017 I finally decided to try it. I signed up for the 21 days trial. I loved the environment, the format, and how welcoming everyone was (coaches and members). The best part was no class times. I started going 6 times a week to get results. Admittedly, close to the end of the trial I wasn’t going to join. I thought about it, and realized I needed to take care of myself for a change. So I signed up for a full membership. As time went on my endurance increased and I started to gain my strength back. After a few months, it stopped being just about loosing the weight and all about feeling great. The high after a good work out, and the energy to carry on with my day, keeps me working out 6 days a week. I’m motivated to eat healthier and I’m on my way to being at the same fitness level I was at before I had kids. Joining IDEAL is definitely one of the best decision I’ve made in the past 4 years!
